Andre Ayew and Jeffery Schlupp to work under new manager at Crystal Palace as Roy Hodgson prepares to leave at the end of the season
Jordan Ayew and Jeffrey Schlupp will work under a new coach next season as Roy Hodgson prepares to step down as the head coach of the club at the end of the season.
Hodgson will leave Crystal Palace when his contract runs out at the end of the season.
“After more than 45 years of coaching I have decided that the time is right for me to step away from the rigours of top-flight Premier League football,” he said.
“It’s been a particularly rewarding period of my football life and career to have been able to spend these last four seasons with Palace.
“I have had so much support from my wife and family throughout my career and I have been contemplating this decision for some time, and now I believe the time is right to consider them and to see what the future holds for me.”

His final match in charge of Palace will be against Liverpool, one of his former clubs, at Anfield on Sunday.
Palace currently lie 13th with 44 points from 36 matches in the English premier league.
Jordan Ayew has played 31 games with 9 coming by way of substitutes appearances.
He has scored just once in the 2020/21 league season.
Jeffrey Schlupp on the other hand has played 25 times with 11 substitute appearances, scoring two goals in the process.
