Nigerian Catholic priest, Kelvin Ugwu has alluded that Nigerian women don’t hate polygamy.
He based his assertion on reactions from women after billionaire businessman and politician, Ned Nwoko gifted his wife, Regina Daniels $100,000.
Ugwu said that most women who claim to hate polygamy are now wishing to be wives of Nwoko.
The missionary priest, who has been transferred to The Gambia from Malawi, stated this on Friday, January 27, after the former lawmaker surprised his wife, actress Regina Daniels, with $100,000. Read here.
“Those shouting that they hate polygamy are now wishing to be Ned Nwoko’s next wife. Say the truth and nobody will beat you, what you hate is not polygamy but poor polygamists. What you abhor is not old men, but poor old men.” he wrote.
