#Ballon d’Or: Super Eagles Star Samuel Chukwueze Nominated For Top International Award

Super Eagles star Samuel Chukwueze has been nominated for the Ballon d’Or award for the best U21 player of the year.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria and Villarreal of Spain of winger is shortlisted alongside other top players like Vinicius Jr, Matthijs DeLigt, Jordan Sancho, Joao Felix among other young talented players for the prestigious award.

Paris Saint Germain forward Kylian Mbappe emerged the inaugural winner of the award last year, seeing off Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic and AS Roma’s Justin Kluivert, a feat Chukwueze will be eyeing to replicate come December 2.
